To complete a CBT course there are two main requirements.

• You need to be 16 years of age or over.


• You must have a provisional moped or motorcycle licence.

You can sit the CBT on any moped or motorcycle from 49cc -125cc, automatic or geared. If you are on a Direct Access Course you can sit the CBT on a larger bike but this is not usual practice.

The CBT is designed to give you some basic bike control skills and some road awareness before you are able to ride un-supervised on 'L' plates.

Please remember that if you have paid a deposit for the Introduction Lesson, this will be deducted from the CBT price.

The cost of the CBT includes bike hire, helmet, jacket, gloves, waterproofs and the cost of your CBT certificate.
