Q1: Do you have a provisional Motorcycle entitlement on your licence?

Yes | No | I have a full bike licence | I don't know! have I failed already?

There are different courses available to you depending on your age...

Q2: How old are you?

16 | 17-20 | 21 or over

16 - At 16 you can take the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) course. This will enable you to ride a moped (49cc, max speed 30mph)

If you have never ridden before, we recommend the Free Introduction lesson. This will enable us to teach you the basics of bike control that will make getting through the CBT much easier.

Once you have completed the CBT, you are not able to ride anything bigger on the road until you reach 17 years of age. Once you reach the age of 17 you can upgrade to a 125cc bike (max 14.6 BHP)

You are restricted by the learner laws. I.e. You cannot carry passengers, you are not allowed to ride on motorways and you must display 'L' plates at all times.

You do not need to hold a valid licence to do the Introduction lesson, our insurance covers us to train 15 year olds approaching their 16th birthday who have applied for a provisional licence. You can do this 2 months before your 16th birthday.

The CBT certificate is valid for 2 years. click here for more information about the CBT course
